Positions Available

Racker/Packer

Location: ADV Plating, Monroe, NC

Type: Part–time(approximately 20 hrs per week)

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Scope: ADV Plating has an immediate opportunity for a Racker/ Packer. We are looking for part time employees that can average 20 hours per week. Hours are flexible during first shift (6A–3P).

Essential Job Duties

•Pack and un–pack customer parts for shipping

•Properly handle customer parts to avoid damage•Visually inspect and count customer parts; notify supervisor of any non–conformance

•Perform repetitive racking/wiring and un–racking/un–wiring per instruction

•Wipe or polish parts as needed

•Record necessary information for documentation

•Follow established rules, regulations, safety precautions and quality standards

•Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and organized condition

•Perform other related job duties as directed

Qualifications & Skills

•Speak English sufficiently to allow for effective cooperation with teammates

•Read and write English on forms

•Perform basic arithmetic

•High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

•Repetitive lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted

•Must be able to differentiate between color variances

•Facility contains sharp parts, sharp tooling, heavy carts, occasional hot and cold temperature and humidity levels, moderate noise levels

•Chemicals used throughout the facility,potential splash exposure near process lines

•Employment is conditional upon passing initial drug and alcohol testing
